Technical Advice

Supplying Files
We can accept files on CD, DVD, Zip Disk, Flash, Email or via our FTP Server.

EMAIL
Please send your files to production@pantherprint.co.uk mark them clearly with your company name.

When supplying files please remember the following information:

Colour jobs
Please ensure the following:
step1Pictures must be CMYK and saved as TIFF, Photoshop EPS, or JPEG.
step2Include all fonts used within your publication.
step3In the Colour Palette of your particular software make sure all colours are set up as CMYK.

Spot colour jobs
Please supply all related files:
step1 All Pantone references must be the same. For example; if you saved a logo in Illustrator with a CVU suffix you must use this suffix throughout your publication (i.e. not CVC or CV etc).
step2 All fonts used within your publication.
step3 In the Colour Palette of your particular DTP programme make sure only the spot colours that you want appear in the colour palette
step4 Note: RGB or CMYK images will not separate in to spot colours.

The following programmes are not suitable for spot colour output. We will treat their files as CMYK (4 Colour)
MS Word
MSExcel
MS Powerpoint
MS Publisher (Possible but tricky if you don’t know what you are doing)

Bleed
3mm should suffice.

Pictures
Ideally pictures should be 350 dpi at 100% print size.
